Abstract

Today Manufacturing Networks become temporarily arrangements and show the retention of each network partner’s autonomy. The abandonment of formal hierarchical and order structures as well as the temporary existence results in higher complexity and dynamics. This dynamic and complexity implicate specific requirements for collaborative business in Manufacturing Networks and therefore it introduces new challenges to manage quality within them. This paper is going to evaluate the worldwide most adapted ISO 9001 Quality Management standard applicability within such dynamic Manufacturing Networks.
