Abstract

Due to the implementation of new information and communication technologies, an
increasing globalisation as well as the need for a reduced time to market, the
competition between different supply chains and their stakeholders increases. Not only the efficiency of the implemented ICT is a key indicator for the competitiveness, also the skills and the competencies of every involved stakeholder is important, thus the need for vocational training of the stakeholders in a supply chain increase. This paper will present an approach developed within the EURIDICE integrated project on how such training could be organised and which components needed.
