Prof. Dr. Björn Lüssem
IMSAS – Institute for Microsensors, Actuators, and Systems
Björn Lüssem studied electrical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and the University of Bath, graduating with a degree in engineering in 2003. He earned his doctorate at Forschungszentrum Jülich in the field of molecular electronics. After a stint at Sony's Materials Science Laboratory in Stuttgart from 2006 to 2008, he moved to TU Dresden, where he completed his habilitation.
Since 2021, Prof. Dr. Björn Lüssem has been researching and teaching at the Institute for Microsensors, Actuators and Systems (IMSAS) at the University of Bremen in the field of microsystems technology. Before his appointment at the University of Bremen, Lüssem taught at Kent State University in Ohio, USA.
