Training: “Science in a Nutshell”

As part of the internal continuing education offerings for the Logistics Research and Transfer Cluster, the training session “Science in a Nutshell” will take place on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The seminar is exclusively for members of the cluster and their research groups and is designed to provide researchers with targeted training in various areas of science communication.

The event will be held at the Bremen Institute for Production and Logistics (BIBA).

Dr. Jens Kube will lead the training session. An astrophysicist with a Ph.D., he has been working in science communication since 2003—including at the press office of the Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research and as head of science communication at the DESY project management office. Since 2016, he has been offering workshops as an independent consultant on presentation skills, personal career strategy, social media, and multimedia content.
