Review: Port2Connect closing event on November 25, 2025

The closing event of the Port2Connect project (Intelligent port logbook for the efficient and sustainable use of port infrastructure) on November 25, 2025, in Bremerhaven impressively demonstrated how research and practice can work hand in hand.

BIBA provided scientific support for the project and contributed to the development and validation of algorithms and sensor solutions. Together with its partners Aimpulse Intelligent Systems GmbH, bremenports GmbH & Co. KG, and TRENZ GmbH, BIBA was able to demonstrate results in digital ship tracking, digital port logbooks, AI-supported quay planning, and sensor technology for emission allocation. Together, we are driving forward the digitalization and climate friendliness of ports!
